Scots Quiet Presidents For Second Straight Win

Box Score The Gordon College Men's Tennis team claimed their second straight victory in Hilton Head after breezing past the Washington & Jefferson Presidents, 7-0.

How It Happened
  • Jeffrey Bodner and Joshua Noel orchestrated a 6-2 win on the No. 1 court, as did Vittal Harith and Gabriel Guzman in No. 2 action. Making it a clean sweep on the doubles side, Lucas Barnes and Percy Martinez also took a commanding 6-1 win on the No. 3 court. 
  • Four Fighting Scots put a goose egg on the scoreboard during their sets. No. 1 Bodner defeated his opponent, 6-0, 6-4, as did No. 2 Harith (6-3, 6-1), Noel (7-5, 6-1), Banres (6-2, 6-0), Guzman (6-2, 6-0), and James Wellborn (6-0, 7-5). 
Gordon hits the court one last time tomorrow, March 14 to play the Gettysburg at 1 p.m. in Hilton Head.
