The most accomplished runner in Gordon College Athletics history,
Rachel Brennan continued to add to her already proven Hall of Fame resume this afternoon. The fifth year student-athlete earned All-America honors this afternoon at the NCAA DIII Indoor Track & Field National Championship in the one mile.
Brennan qualified for the Indoor National Championship for the first time in her historic career. However, overall this marks Brennan's fifth National Championship appearance with three being in cross country and one in outdoor track & field. The star competitor came out of the gates with the pack, before holding strong in the eighth spot after her second lap to cross the finish line with a time of 4:53.57. Brennan's time marked a personal best for the veteran as well as a new school record.
After some much needed rest, Brennan will hit the ground running once again on Saturday, March 29 to compete at Tuft's Snowflake Invitational.
