Gordon College Men's Lacrosse hosted the Nichols College Bison on Saturday afternoon. Before the game got underway, the Fighting Scots honored their seniors. The Bison however, would go on to take a 11-8 win.

Ryan Long found the back of the net three times for the Scots and added one assist, Nicolas Flemmi scored two goals, and Caden Ellis punched in another two goals.

For the Bison, Conor Doherty scored three goals, Dylan DeRubeis scored two goals while Ayden Lockard scored another two.

How It Happened

• The Bison went up three goals to none in the first quarter until Caden Lake setup Long with the Scots' first score. Only ten seconds later, off an assist from Aidan Walsh, Jackson Wright ripped a ball past the Bison goalie to put the Scots back in the game (3-2). 
• Not even a minute into the second quarter, Ellis buried a goal to bring the score at three a piece. The Bison answered with two more goals of their own but Flemmi and Long both scored to tie it up again at five. Goalie Colin Liscomb made a series of saves to end the half, keeping the score tied 5-5.
• Both teams traded goals early in the second half and were tied back up at 6-6. The Bison took the lead back late in the third (7-6).
• After another Bison goal at the start of the fourth quarter, Ellis scored to bring the game within one. However, the Bison pulled away with a 11-8 win.

Beyond The Box Score

• Before today's game, the Scots honored seniors Colin Liscomb, Nicolas Flemmi, Marco Fernandez, Patrick Williams, and William McCormick for their commitment and dedication to the program during the course of their careers.
• Caden Lake record a season high three assists.
• Ryan Long recorded his second hat trick of the season.
