The Gordon College Fighting Scots' Men's Lacrosse team welcomed the Hawks of Roger Williams to the Brigham Athletic Complex tonight as they continued Conference of New England (CNE) action. The Hawks took down the Fighting Scots, 15-3.
For Gordon,
Jackson Wright recorded two goals,
Ryan Arthur added one goal, while
Caden Lake chipped in one assist.
RWU's
Eric Brooks led the way with four goals and two assists, while
Carter Shelton,
Ryan Vendetti and
Matt Hemmert each netted two goals tonight.Â
How It Happened
- Wright fired in the first goal of the evening as the junior capitalized off of a Hawk turnover to make it 1-0 in favor of Gordon less then five minutes after the opening face-off. RWU scored eight unanswered to go on top, 8-1 at halftime.
- In the second half, Wright found the back of the net once again while Arthur ripped one in late but the Hawks continued to control the game to come out with the victory.
