Gordon College Men's Lacrosse traveled to Connecticut today to play the University of Hartford Hawks in Conference of New England (CNE) action where the home team beat the Fighting Scots, 13-3.
For the Scots,
Jackson Wright led the effort with three goals,
Aidan Walsh won 10 of 18 face-offs, while
Nicolas Flemmi and
Ryan Arthur each contributed one assist. In goal,
Colin Liscomb made 20 saves.

How It Happened
- Hartford found the net early to take a quick 2-0 edge, before Wright ripped a shot into the back of the net to split the difference (2-1) with 1:19 to go in the opening quarter. The home team however had the last say of the frame with a goal with two ticks left on the clock (3-1).
- The Hawks scored five unanswered in the second to widen the gap to 8-1 at the break.
- Wright scored two more in the second half but Hartford continued to hold the advantage to take the victory.
Beyond The Box Score
- Jackson Wright has now scored two or more goals in back-to-back games. He has also netted multi-goal games in all but one contest this season.
- Gordon returns back to the Brigham Athletic Complex on Wednesday, April 9 to host the Curry College Colonels at 7 p.m. to continue CNE play.
