BSU RESULTS | SILFEN RESULTS

Gordon College Women's Track & Field competed at the Bridgewater State Invitational as well as the Silfen Invitational hosted by Conn. College this weekend. The Fighting Scots competed for the second straight weekend in less than ideal conditions, but were still able to perform well.

Bridgewater Invite

• Amaris Goodwin took first place in the 100m with a time of 12.14, as well as first in the 200m with a time of 24.80 (+2.7m/s). 
• Elizabeth Gaskill had the fifth best run in the 200m (25.83, +2.7m/s), and also scooped up a fifth place finish in the long jump (4.85m).
• Rookie Jenna Lindsay's time of 1:00.34 earned herself a second place finish in the 400m run.
• Joy Sefelino claimed fourth place in the 400m hurdles (1:12.38).
• Anissa Lewis recorded a long jump distance of 5.06m to collect a second place finish. 
• Kasianna Fischev launched the discus a distance of 30.05m to take the top spot for the blue and white.
• The 4x100m relay team of Gaskill, Goodwin, Maya Drouillard, and Lindsay secured a new school record with their time of 49.83.

Silfen Invite

• Carolyn Day ran the 5k in 17:48.14 to earn the senior a 10th place finish. Additionally, Day's time ranks 72nd in DIII. 
• In the 5000m run, Molly Burkhart crossed the finished line just outside the top-10 as the rookie came in 11th place (20:22.69).
• Lewis secured third in the triple jump with a distance of 10.45m.

Gordon next travels into Cambridge on Saturday for MIT's Sean Collier Invitational.
