CNE RELEASE

As announced by the Conference of New England (CNE) this afternoon, Gordon College Women's Lacrosse's Emma Darling was named the CNE Defensive Player of the Weeks after pacing the Fighting Scots' defense this past week. 

Darling came out hungry to defend her home turf on Wednesday, as the senior caused a season-high five turnovers and collected six ground balls against the Curry College Colonels.

This past Saturday in extreme inclement weather, the stingy defender did not let the poor conditions halt her defensive output. Darling collected five more ground balls and caused four turnovers against the Suffolk University Rams.

The Fighting Scots hit the road for a CNE battle tomorrow as they travel up to Maine to play the Nor'easters of the University of New England.
