Gordon College Men's Tennis hosted the Colby-Sawyer College (CSC) Chargers this afternoon for their Conference of New England (CNE) finale. The visitors were able to escape Wenham with the narrow 4-3 win.
How It Happened
- The No. 2 pairing of Joshua Noel and Jeffrey Bodner cruised through their doubles match by a score of 6-1. Despite CSC taking the win on the No. 2 court, the Fighting Scots claimed the overall doubles win with a 6-3 victory thanks to Carleton Riester and James Wellborn in No. 3 action.
- Riester earned the first singles win for the blue and white (6-3, 5-7, 6-2). Then, Bodner took the dub on the top court (4-6, 6-3, 7-5), but the visitors were able to clinch the final match to take the win.
The Scots await the official seeding from the conference office as they look to the CNE First Round this Saturday, April 26.
