Gordon College Track and Field sent qualifying athletes to compete in the New England Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship at the Coast Guard Academy on Friday and Saturday. Multiple Fighting Scots scored to lead the team to eleventh in New England.

Friday

• Alivia Geraghty got the Scots rolling with a first place 49.80m toss in the hammer throw
• Amaris Goodwin ran a 12.06 in the 100m prelims to move on to the final round on Saturday.
• Carolyn Day closed the Friday competition as she raced to a third place finish in the 10k with a time of 36:56.73 (ranks 47th in the nation among Division III athletes).

Saturday

• Goodwin sent the Scots into a frenzy after shaving .2 seconds off her 100m time to claim 2nd and break her own program record. Her time of 11.86 is a school record and currently ranks eighth in the nation. 
• Goodwin got set into her blocks once again for the 200m. The senior blazed to fourth place finish with a program record breaking time of 24.78 (ranks 42nd in the nation).
• Olivia Murch took on the 3000m steeplechase and placed 21st with a time of 12:38.46.
• Jenna Lindsay, Caroline Roberts, Jazmine Kasey, and Carolyn Day teamed up in the 4x800m relay to run a 10:01.51 and take 14th place. Their time breaks a five year old program record by five seconds.
