WENHAM, Mass.- Rookie Abigail Roark (Hereford, Ariz.) captured the first overall in her collegiate debut to lead the Gordon College women's cross country team at the Battle of the North Shore Saturday against cross-town rival Endicott.
 
Caroline Roberts (Wakefield, Mass.) placed fourth while Kaylee Bettez (Gardner, Mass.) and Julie Anderson (East Haddam, Conn.) finished seventh and eighth, respectively.
 
With six runners finishing in the top-10, the Gulls captured the "Battle of the North Shore" trophy.
