WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College men's soccer team played Husson to a 1-1 stalemate Sunday afternoon at the Brigham Athletic Complex. The result marks the second-consecutive 1-1 draw in the all-time series between the two teams.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Gordon claimed a 1-0 lead in the 32nd minute. Zach Hutt (Streetsboro, Ohio) rolled in a low feed from Cortez Cardone (Villanova, Pa.) to bag his first goal of the fall.
- Husson netted the equalizer in the 51st minute, knotting the match at 1-1. Miguel Diaz Alvarez headed in a cross from Lucas Alabiso to collect his first tally of the season.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Cortez Cardone (Villanova, Pa.) and Alex Diaz (Revere, Mass.) both registered a team-high three shots in the contest while Jake Scruton (Georgetown, Mass.) and Benny Simpson (Evergreen, Colo.) recorded a pair of shots each.
- Goalkeeper Riley Calemmo (Pocono Mountain, Pa.) posted two saves between the pipes.
- Gordon generated 15 shots while Husson finished with 12 attempts.
- The visitors held a narrow 3-2 edge in corner kicks earned.
