BEVERLY, Mass.- First-year Abigail Roark (Hereford, Ariz.) of the Gordon College women's cross country team has been selected as the Conference of New England (CNE) Rookie of the Week, announced the league office Tuesday afternoon.

Roark paced the field in her first collegiate race, capturing a first-place finish at the Battle of the North Shore with a time of 19:30.8.

Up next, Gordon will host the Pop Crowell Invitational September 13.
