SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- The Gordon College field hockey team absorbed a 7-0 loss at Western New England Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The two teams battled to a scoreless stalemate through the first two quarters.
• Western New England erupted for four goals in the third period to claim a 4-0 lead.
• The Golden Bears tacked on three goals in the fourth frame to seal their third-straight win.
   

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Kayla Davidson (Dracut, Mass.) registered Gordon's only shot of the contest.
• Allyson Stauffer (Lancaster, Pa.) finished with 16 saves between the pipes.
• Gordon recorded one shot attempt on the day while Western New England generated 40 shots.
