WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College volleyball team stormed past Oglethorpe 3-0 before engineering a come-from-behind 3-2 win over William Peace Friday at the Hermann Athletic Center on the campus of William Peace.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Gordon captured the opening set 25-22 to construct a 1-0 lead.
- The Fighting Scots secured a 25-20 decision in the second frame to extend their advantage to 2-0.
- Gordon prevailed 25-19 in the third to collect its first-ever victory over Oglethorpe.

- Haley Hutzler (Long Island, N.Y.) paced the Fighting Scots with 14 kills and nine digs.
- Annie Zimmerman (Austin, Texas) finished with nine kills and eight digs.
- Maria Clarabuch (Sant Cugat Del Valles, Spain) tallied six kills while Morgan Bruner (Litchfield, N.H.) notched four kills and three service aces.

- The Fighting Scots bounced back to claim the third frame 25-16, cutting the deficit to 2-1.
- Gordon pulled even at 2-2 with a narrow 34-32 decision in the fourth set.
- The Fighting Scots triumphed 15-12 in the winner-take-all fifth set to cap off the reverse sweep.
