BOSTON, Mass.- The Gordon College women's track & field team established three new school records as a select group of student-athletes competed at the highly-competitive John Thomas Terrier Classic hosted by Boston University Friday.
 

TOP PERFORMANCES:

• Rookie Josie Hendricks finished 14th in the pole vault as she broke her own school record with a mark of 3.36 meters.
• Emily Bengtson shattered the program record in the 400-meter dash open event with a time of 58.31 to finish 16th out of 85 competitors. Her mark also places her in the top-50 in NCAA Division III this season.
• Alivia Geraghty broke a school record in the weight throw with a toss of 16.23 meters to place sixth. The mark lands her in the top-20 in NCAA Division III this year.
• Anissa Lewis placed in the top-20 in the triple jump with a distance of 10.69 meters.
• Jenna Lindsay claimed a top-20 finish in the 500 meters, crossing the line in 1:20.50.

 
LOOKING AHEAD:
Gordon will compete at the Harvard Invitational January 31.
