DAVENPORT, Fla.- The Gordon College baseball team scored nine runs and erased a four-run deficit en route to capturing a 9-5 victory over Juniata Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Juniata jumped out to a 1-0 lead with a run in the top of the first inning.
- The Eagles tacked on one run in the second to double their advantage to 2-0.
- Juniata added a run in the third frame to widen the margin to 3-0.
- The Eagles chalked up one run in the fourth to extend the lead to 4-0.
- Gordon tallied a pair of runs in the home half of the fifth inning, slashing the deficit to 4-2.
- The Fighting Scots clawed back to tie the game at 4-4 with two runs in the sixth.
- Gordon plated two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to snag a 6-4 edge.
- The Fighting Scots produced three runs in the eighth to push their lead to 9-4.
- Juniata picked up a run in the ninth inning as Gordon secured a 9-5 win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- CJ Massella (Blue Bell, Pa.) racked up four base hits to go with two runs scored and an RBI.
- Carter Shin (Brighton, Ontario) finished with three hits, two RBIs, and a run scored.
- Gabe Fales (Middleton, Mass.) recorded two hits, two RBIs, and one run scored.
- Adam Gracie (Swansea, Mass.) and Cam Wilbur (Dighton, Mass.) both chipped in with two base knocks, one RBI, and one run scored.
- Brett Moore (Gloucester, Mass.) pitched five innings and notched three strikeouts in his first start of the spring. Michael Pelletier (Clinton, Conn.) worked three scoreless innings and fanned two batters before Casey Watson (Chester, N.H.) tossed one frame of relief.
