WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College women's lacrosse team suffered a 24-3 setback to Western New England Tuesday afternoon at the Brigham Athletic Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Western New England tallied 10 goals in the first quarter while Gordon managed one goal.
- The Golden Bears added four goals in the second frame and limited the Fighting Scots to one tally to carry a 14-2 advantage into the halftime intermission.
- Western New England produced five goals in the third to extend its lead to 19-2.
- The visitors outscored the home side 5-1 in the fourth to earn their third-consecutive road win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Hannah Rose (Andover, Mass.) scored a pair of goals while Sophia Tommassoni (Annapolis, Md.) netted one goal.
- Jocelyn Noyes (Byfield, Mass.) finished with three ground balls, two draw controls, two caused-turnovers, and one assist.
- Between the posts, Kayla Davidson (Peabody, Mass.) registered five saves in her eighth start. Laureen Leggett (Peabody, Mass.) made three stops in 30 minutes of relief action.
- Gordon concluded the contest with seven shot attempts while Western New England recorded 37 shot attempts.
