WEYMOUTH, Mass.- The Gordon College baseball team collected a crucial league win over Wentworth, 10-4, Tuesday evening.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Wentworth constructed a 2-0 lead with a pair of runs in the bottom of the first inning.
- Gordon plated three runs in the top of the third to seize a 3-2 edge.
- The Fighting Scots produced five runs in the fifth inning to extend their advantage to 8-2.
- The Leopards chalked up two runs in the home half of the sixth to trim the deficit to 8-4.
- Gordon added one run in the seventh frame and one run in the eighth to regain a six-run cushion, 10-4.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Carter Shin (Burlington, Ont.) finished with four hits, three RBIs, and a run scored.
- Gabe Fales (Middleton, Mass.) and Tyler Wilson (Lynn, Mass.) both posted two hits, two RBIs, and one run scored.
- Adam Gracie (Swansea, Mass.) chipped in with two hits, one RBI, and a run scored.
- Blake King (Easton, Maine) notched two RBIs, two runs scored, and one base knock.
- Brett Moore (Gloucester, Mass.) started on the bump and pitched 5.1 innings. Matt Pancurak (Medford, N.J.) tossed 1.2 innings of relief and fanned one batter. Gabe Fales (Middleton, Mass.) worked two perfect innings and recorded one strikeout.
