FITCHBURG, Mass.- The Gordon College women's track and field team finished atop the team standings at the Jim Sheehan Invitational hosted by Fitchburg State Saturday.
 

TOP PERFORMANCES:

• Josie Hendricks collected a first-place finish in the pole vault after shattering her own school record with a jump of 3.60 meters.
• Jenna Lindsay posted a time of 1:08.29 to win the 400-meter hurdles.
• Alivia Geraghty earned a first-place finish in the hammer throw with a toss of 52.25 meters.
• Anissa Lewis claimed first in the long jump with a mark of 5.29 meters and also finished second in the triple jump with a leap of 10.70 meters.
• Emily Bengtson bested the field in the 400 meters with a time of 59.04 seconds.
• Lizzie Gaskill grabbed second-place finishes in the 100 meters and the long jump.
• Jillian Wivell finished third in the 5,000 meters with a personal-best time.
• Gordon's 4x100 meter relay quartet captured a second-place finish while the 4x400 meter relay squad placed third.

Gordon will compete at the Regis Spring Classic April 10.
