2026 CSC Softball Academic All-District Team
WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College softball team landed four student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, as the organization released its 2026 CSC Academic All-District Team Tuesday.
Emily Graham claimed her third-consecutive CSC Academic All-District accolade while
Katie Melendy collected her second-straight honor.
Makayla Falco and
Caoimhe Wernsing were both recognized for the first time in their careers.
The Academic All-District program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes from NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.
Falco started all 39 games this spring and owned a batting average of .292. She registered 31 hits, 23 runs scored, 19 RBIs, and seven stolen bases.
Graham started five contests in the pitcher's circle and made 18 relief appearances, working 67 innings while posting 35 strikeouts and a 6-5 record. Offensively, she batted .328 from the dish with 20 hits and 13 RBIs.
Melendy started nine games in the pitcher's circle and made 14 relief appearances on the season, tossing 44.2 innings and sporting a 4-5 record.
Wernsing saw action in 35 contests while leading the squad with a .464 on-base percentage and ranking second on the team with a .341 batting average. She concluded the spring with 31 base hits, 16 runs scored, and 15 RBIs.
The Fighting Scots finished the 2026 season with a 13-26 overall record to go with a 3-17 mark in the Conference of New England.
