WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College volleyball team returned to the Bennett Athletic Center and rolled to a 3-0 victory over Fisher Wednesday evening.

THE BASICS:
Score: Gordon 3, Fisher 0
Records: Fighting Scots (4-5) | Falcons (6-4)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The home team coasted to a 25-6 win in the first set to construct a 1-0 lead in the match.
After falling behind early in the second stanza, Gordon battled back and scored nine unanswered points to clinch the set 25-17.
The Fighting Scots prevailed 25-21 in the third to capture their third sweep of the season.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

Haley Hutzler (Long Island, N.Y.) finished with seven kills, five digs, and three aces.
Allison Trogdon (Williamsburg, Va.) posted six kills while Quinn Arico (Rollinsford, N.H.) and Teagan Brideweser (Warwick, N.Y.) both tallied five kills.
Annika Schmitt (Quincy, Mass.) dished out 13 assists and Vivian Castano (Yarmouth Port, Mass.) added 11 assists.
Amanda Pierce (Johnston, R.I.) paced Gordon with 10 digs on the night.

LOOKING AHEAD:
The Fighting Scots are set to host the Gordon Invitational September 18-19. Gordon will face off against Maine Maritime, St. Lawrence, and Wheaton.
