BEVERLY, Mass.- Sophomores Andrew Lazich (Middletown, Conn.) and Riley Calemmo (Pocono Mountain, Pa.) of the Gordon College men's soccer team garnered Conference of New England weekly awards, announced the league office Tuesday. Lazich was tabbed the Offensive Player of the Week while Calemmo claimed Defensive Player of the Week accolades.

The duo helped the Fighting Scots to a 2-1-0 start to the 2026 campaign.

Lazich bagged a goal in the opening match of the season at Babson and netted the only goal in a 1-0 victory at California Lutheran.

Calemmo posted 17 saves and a pair of clean sheets in three starts between the pipes.

Gordon eyes its third-straight win as it travels to Clark (Mass.) September 9.
