Women's basketball junior guard Brooke Kratche (Chagrin Falls, Ohio) has been named Gordon's Athlete of the Week after helping lead the Fighting Scots to a 2-1 start on the season.

Last week's Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week, Kratche just missed out on a triple-double in the Scots' 62-53 win over Lasell in their season opener on November 15 with 16 points, 15 rebounds, eight steals, and five assists on the night. Despite a tough loss to Drew the following day, she once again led her team's effort, shooting 70 percent from the floor with 15 points and six rebounds in 35 minutes of work.

Then in Gordon's first road matchup of the season at Fisher on November 21, Kratche put up huge numbers with a 27-point, 11-rebound double-double to pace the 69-62 non-conference win.

On the season she is averaging 19.3 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 3.0 steals with a .519 field goal percentage.
