The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) has announced that Gordon Men's Soccer captain Trevor Hinshaw (San Jose, Calif.) has been selected to the 2013 NSCAA College Division III Men's Scholar All-East Region Third Team.

Prior to this distinction, Hinshaw was most recently selected to the 2013 Capital One Academic All-America Division III Men's Soccer Second Team. He was also named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team and honored as the CCC Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year in addition to being a member of the CCC First Team for his efforts on the pitch. A four-year standout both on the field and in the classroom, he has earned CCC Academic All-Conference honors in each season as a Fighting Scot and is a Gordon College A.J. Scholar and Kenneth Pike Scholar. Serving as team captain for the 2013 campaign, Hinshaw guided the Scots to their winningest season in program history (19-3-0, 8-1-0 CCC).
