Gordon College Athletics

Gordon Softball infielder Rachel Ryder (Telford, Pa.) has been selected as Gordon's Athlete of the Week after a standout series of games at the Snowbird Softball Tournament in Myrtle Beach, S.C. last week.

In eight games played, Ryder hit .538 (14-26) from the plate, ripping one double and an impressive five triples to tie Gordon's single-season triple record. She also contributed eight runs and three stolen bases to the team's effort.

The Scots are scheduled to kick off their domestic agenda at Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) host Curry College on Friday, March 21 at 2:30p.m.
