BEVERLY, Mass.- Junior Annie Zimmerman (Austin, Texas) of the Gordon College women's volleyball team has been named the Conference of the New England (CNE) Player of the Week, announced the league office Monday.

Zimmerman recorded two double-doubles on the week, notching 36 kills, 33 digs, and five aces as Gordon posted a 1-1 record with a pair of 3-2 decisions.

She racked up 21 kills and 12 digs in the Fighting Scots' 3-2 win over Johnson & Wales. Zimmerman posted 15 kills and 21 digs in a 3-2 loss to Roger Williams.

This season, Zimmerman ranks second on the squad with 215 kills to go with 220 digs and 29 aces.

Gordon boasts a 15-6 overall record and a 4-2 mark in league competition. The Fighting Scots travel to Endicott October 22.
