Box Score After an off day yesterday, Gordon College Baseball took the field to play Mt. St. Mary College (N.Y.) at NERP in Davenport, Florida. The Mountaineers overcame a Fighting Scots' comeback to win 6-4. 

How It Happened

• With two on in the bottom of the first, Tyler Wilson hit a single up the middle to plate the first run of the game (1-0). The visitors locked up the scoreboard an inning later before tacking on two more in the fourth to lead, 3-1.
• Mike Williams held the Mountaineers to one hit in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings. In the bottom of the seventh, Wilson sent a double through right field, sending in the Scots' second run. Joey Kazlauskas tied the game at 3-3 as he crossed home off a wild pitch. The Scots then took a 4-3 lead after Ben Marciano walked.
• The Mountaineers answered in the top of the eighth with three runs and took a 6-4 lead into the ninth. 
• Brett Moore held the score to 6-4 as he struck the Mountaineers out swinging. However, the Mountaineers returned the favor and didn't allow a run, giving them a 6-4 win. 

Beyond The Box Score

• Tyler Wilson recorded his fourth multiple hit game on the young season.
• Gordon returns to action tomorrow night at NERP to play Delaware Valley at 7:15 p.m.
