Mini, Piorkowski, Darling, Davidson Named To All-CNE Team

CNE RELEASE

As announced by the Conference of New England (CNE) today, Kaitlyn Mini, Caroline Piorkowski, Emma Darling, and Kayla Davidson of Gordon College Women's Lacrosse have been placed on the All-CNE Third Team. Kayla Davidson earned a spot on the Inaugural Community Service Team.

Voting for the All-Conference Teams and major awards was conducted by CNE head women's lacrosse coaches after the conclusion of the regular season.

For the third straight year, Mini earned a spot on an All-Conference team. The senior attacker terrorized opposing defenses with her speed, ability to weave through defenders, and rocket shot. With 63 goals this season, she scored the third most goals per game in the conference with 3.94. She ranked fourth in points per game with 4.94. Mini ends her career as a top five scorer in program history with 197 goals while also recording 234 points.

Piorkowski debuts on the All-CNE team after a monster season at attack. The third year showcased a well rounded skill set with elite field vision, pin point accurate passes, and a knack for finding the back of the net. Her 28 assists this season earned her fourth in assists per game in the CNE and ninth in points per game (4.31). Piorkowski's 41 goals this season elevated her to 101 career goals in just three years. She finishes eight in assists in program history with 58.

Darling has secured a spot on an All-Conference team for all four years as a Fighting Scots. The lockdown defender utilized a rare combination in athleticism, technique, and IQ to keep opposing offenses in check. The senior was a thorn in attacker's side as she caused 35 turnovers this season while securing 45 ground balls for the Scots. Darling finishes her career with the most caused turnovers in Scots' history with 119 and fourth in ground balls with 156.

For the first time in her career, Davidson grabs a spot on the All-CNE team after a prolific season in net. The third year goalie robbed attackers of goals all season with quick reflexes, great positioning, and toughness. With 216 saves, Davidson recorded the most saves per game in the CNE with 13.5. She also finished top three in save percentage (.455) in the conference. Throughout her career as a Scot, Davidson has made 487 saves on a .437 save percentage.
