"The area of communication is becoming more and more tied to the general field of athletics thanks to the rise of independent media and social media," said Underation. "So we have developed a course of study in comm that focuses on the basics of creating content for the athletic field. One of these classes is called Creating Sports Content, and this is the class that made these videos. The idea is that we wanted to help athletics at Gordon with content creation--since creating content is a very time intensive process--and help students interested in perhaps working in the field build a portfolio. We're working on recruiting content like these videos, but also basic audio and video stories and promos and so forth that can be used in an athletic setting."
