BEVERLY, Mass.- Senior Peter McGinn and freshman Mikey Poteau of the Gordon College men's track & field team garnered Conference of New England Track Athlete of the Week and Rookie of the Week accolades, respectively, announce the league office Monday afternoon.

McGinn posted a personal-best time to capture a first-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles at the Jim Sheehan Invitational.

Poteau competed in three events at the Jim Sheehan Invitational and earned three top-10 finishes. He placed second in the 110-meter hurdles, ninth in the 200-meter dash, and ran the third leg of Gordon's 4x100-meter relay that claimed fifth.

Up next, the Fighting Scots will compete at the Regis Spring Classic April 10.
