CSC SOFTBALL ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT RELEASE 

Two Gordon College Softball student-athletes have been named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team as announced by the organization earlier this week. Among the honorees were Emily Graham and Katie Melendy who are pursuing their degrees in kinesiology and biology, respectively. 

In order to be recognized with this honor, a student-athlete must obtain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale), must have at least sophomore academic standing, and must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played, or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances, or pitched 35 innings.

Graham has now earned recognition by CSC for the second straight year, while teammate Melendy makes her first appearance on the academic all-district team.
