Box Score WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College men's lacrosse team absorbed a 20-8 loss to Western New England Tuesday night at the Brigham Athletic Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Western New England establish a 9-2 lead after the first quarter and outscored Gordon 4-2 in the second frame to hold a 13-4 advantage at the half.
• The Golden Bears chalked up seven goals in the third period while limiting the Fighting Scots to one score to stretch the margin to 20-5.
• The home side poured in three goals in the fourth quarter and held the visitors scoreless as Western New England earned its fourth win in a row.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Jackson Wright (Cazenovia, N.Y.) notched two goals and two assists.
• Caden Ellis (Newtown Square, Pa.) and Kennedy Opie (Natick, Mass.) both tallied two goals.
• Ryan Arthur (Manorville, N.Y.) finished with one goal and one assist.
• In goal, CJ Veader (Bristol, R.I.) registered a season-high 24 saves.
• Gordon recorded 16 shots on the night while Western New England posted 54 shot attempts.
